Think Pink!

Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a non-profit organization that serves two main purposes - celebrating life and supporting the cause.

Through our photographer network, we are helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Any individual that has been diagnosed with breast cancer or completed treatment within the past 12 months qualifies for a Think Pink session. Sessions are available to document the fight before or during treatment or to celebrate the victory when treatment is completed.

Clients will receive a complimentary session, (20) small prints, and a discount off additional print orders.

Please note: Think Pink Photography is simply the network that connects prospective clients to participating photographers and is in no way involved in the session process.

Supporting the Cause
The Beverly Family Foundation - www.beverlyfamilyfoundation.org
Through donations and various fundraising efforts, all profits from Think Pink Photography will be donated to The Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer. The Foundation focuses on providing financial support for the chemotherapy and mammography needs of uninsured or underinsured individuals; establishing social and psychological support programs for individuals facing breast cancer, their caregivers and children; and fostering opportunities for individuals to educate themselves and others about the life and death importance of early detection.

There are several ways anyone can support Think Pink Photography: Make a Donation, Partner with a Photographer, and Shop (coming soon).

More information coming soon.

What a fun day at Allerton

Little Miss E and I had such a fun day exploring. She was a sweetheart. It amazes me with the questions a young one asks and what they think of. And...skittles are a great thing to have on hand.

Congrats Karen & Steve

Hope you guys had a grat honeymoon. Here are a few of my favorites. It was a beautiful day!

REAL. LIFE. ART.

One of the hardest things about a custom portrait session is deciding on images and how to display them in your home. But thats the great part about using a custom photographer! I offer a full range of services to my clients not available in the big box studios. I can help you turn your family portraits into wall galleries to proudly display!

Here are just a few reasons to choose a custom photographer:
1. Unlimited session time! If it takes 2 hours to get the images we are looking for- no problem. I make sure we have plenty of time.
2. Custom design advice! Whether you have a blank wall you want filled with portraits or just a few new showpieces, I can set up an appointment to visit your home and design a custom portrait plan. I want you to get the most out of your portrait session.
3. Studio? On location? Your session can take place where you'd like it. Of course we can work in the studio but we can also take advantage of all the wonderful natural backdrops nearby. Its up to you and your imagination.

I look forward to working with you to create memories that you can cherish for a lifetime! Call 217-417-5555 to book your custom portrait session!

Celebrating Adoption

I'm excited and honored to be a part of Celebrating Adoption (www.celebratingadoption.org). This is a national not-for-profit organization of photographers wanting to donate their time to celebrate love...life...adoption. If you are an adoptive family and have adopted your child within the last year, you qualify for a Celebrating Adoption session. You will receive a complimentary portrait session (session fee is waived) and a set of proofs. If you, or someone you know, qualifies please have them contact me at melissa@melissawaller.com or send them to www.celebratingadoption.org to find a photographer in their locality.

Unfortunately, Melissa Waller Photography & Design has to limit the number of sessions we can accept each month. Because of the volunteer nature of these sessions, they fill up quickly. Shoot me an email today to schedule your child's session.
